Class Descriptions

We encourage students to go at their own pace and listen to their own body. You are always welcome to adapt movements to suit your needs, come out of postures early and rest when appropriate.

Basic Vinyasa- Brand New Beginners are Welcome! In this class we learn to awaken the flow with slow intentional vinyasas and attention to healthy alignment.


Mixed Vinyasa- All levels are welcome to step into the river of flow as we explore the transformative effects of the practice with fluid vinyasas, backbends and meditation.

Intermediate Vinyasa- A challenging moderate- to- fast paced class designed for seasoned practitioners. Advanced variations are part of the practice. Not suitable for beginners.

Ashtanga 1-A beginner level practice of Ashtanga Vinyasa. An expressive combination of postures, breathwork and mindfulness.

Ashtanga Mixed-A creative, spontaneous mix of deep forward and backward bending, cleansing twists, exhilarating inversions, and playing with balance.

Modified Primary Series- The Primary Series of Ashtanga Vinyasa as taught in the traditional sequence with modifications for all.

Kundalini-Kundalini yoga as taught by Yogi Bhajan is a dynamic and powerful tool for expanding awareness.
This integrated system of exercises, breath control and meditation has been practiced in india for millenia.

Gentle-A slow paced class incorporating seated and supine postures for release, relaxation and the quieting of the mind.

**Hatha Yoga**-A beginner-intermediate level class that moves through a gentle warm-up, moving postures and ends with guided relaxation. * This class requires pre-registration and is not included in the class pass or drop-in fees.*


Pranayama and Meditation-Expand your Yoga practice. Through breath control and mindfulness techniques you can truely
align body, mind and spirit.

Raja Yoga- Complete your practice with our monthly yoga philosophy class. Discussion will follow one of many yogic texts, beginning with Patanjali's Yoga Sutras.

New Moon Meditation-Create fertile mind space to plant seeds of new intention for the following lunar cycle.
